$125.00 per room per night (2 people) including a full, 4 course, country-style breakfast.

NOTE: We prefer to have 2 night reservations on weekends...either Friday & Saturday nights or Saturday & Sunday nights.

Walk into winter....on snowshoes. Explore the winter wilds of the Haliburton Highlands
with a winter travel expert and a wildlife biologist. You will stay at the unique and beautiful
Stouffer Mill Bed & Breakfast overlooking Halls Lake. Start you experience with an
introduction to snowshoes - history, types, techniques and tips. After some practice you will head out on a wilderness walk to discover the ecology of winter and the finer points of winter travel and survival. You will also enjoy some good stories, warm hospitality, a tasty lunch prepared over a campfire, a scrumptious dinner, hot tub and live entertainment. This package includes a fully guided program, 4 meals, and two nights accommodation. Complimentary snowshoes provided if you don't have your own.

You will drive to four of Haliburton County's "Hidden Gems", each with its own history and exciting activities. The four "Hidden Gems" include the Historic Hawk Lake Log Chute, The Minden Wildwater Preserve, the Geocaching Captial of Canada and the Ganaraska Trail. All activities take place outdoors and can include Geocaching, swimming, white-water and/or wild-water kayaking or canoeing, fishing, hiking, picnicing and even conquering the "Blairhampton Triangle.

The Audio Tour CD is accompanied with a brochure that includes your "Treasure Map", "What to Bring?", "GPS coordinates to each location" and "Tips and Tricks". Each location has an audio track with a set of GPS coordinates as well as driving directions and a separate track with the location's history, interesting facts and what you can see and do. The tour can be done in one day, however it would be better over several days so that you can enjoy the entire tour and all it has to offer.

All reservations are considered "FIRM" and you are responsible for the amount of the reservation unless we are able to rent the room to someone else....Then there would not be any charge.
